and 13 birds in the distanceby jjbeguinComment: This is a beautiful image. The black and gold bands at the bottom of the picture are very strong and the lacy network of branches of the trees well focussed.
The misty mountains at the back provide the perfect backdrop.

Witnesses of timeby andy_roComment: I inderstand your plan in taking this picture, but I am not sure that it comes off too well. The only part that is atually in focus is a spot two or three feet ahead of the camera. Everything else is blurred.. Perhaps that is what you intended, but I don't find it very pleasing....sorry. |

Sundown at Senecaby coolharComment: A nice peaceful study. The fence, turning a corner just before it reaches the right of the picture is well-placed and the finials on the fence-posts give it some character. |

Rooms with a Viewby mariomelComment: The trouble with taking a picture from a low angle is that the perspective refuses to co-operate, and insists on diminishing the image as it goes up. Consequently the subjhect, which fits so nicely at the bottlom of the picture starts to leave the sides and almost give the picture he impression of widening at the top. It is a very good subject however. |

Parallel Barsby DanBennettComment: Who said 'bars do not a prison make'? They certainly do in this case. Everything is there.. ( I suppose it would be unfair to insist that a prisoner pose for the camera). Very well done. |

Parallel Lightby DamianComment: I can't make up my mind about this one. I think I like it, but I'm not sure. I will have to suspend judgment, i'm afraid. |

More than just Parallel Linesby AamirComment: This is very interesting indeed. I take it to be the inside of a dome-like structure, after and Islamic model. The brickwork photographs wonderfully well and the turquoise and terracotta colouring sit happily together. |

Fencelineby beefheadComment: This is a good subject. The border planting adds some flavour, and the colour of the fence, is pleasing. |

Parallel & Intersectingby JeileenComment: I like this . The building has reflections of itself, each wing reflect on the other (I think) and enough parallel lines to satisfy any challenge. Without any figures though , I find it a bit stark; figures do give scale to something like this But I couldn't fault the phtography. |
