Forty-Nineby charmayneComment: Quite a nice portrait! I like the drape over the shoulder, it goes well with the lip stick. I think a different color backdrop would have made all the difference in this picture - it is so similar to the skin tone that the person doesn't show up as well as they should. I think if the head were turned slightly more towards the camera so one could see the other eye more would have also made this even better. Or perhaps, a full profile where you couldn't see the other eye at all. However, I think I'd prefer to see more of the other eye. The colors and soft focus are lovely. |

My Love...by toddheadComment: Her eyes are lovely but she looks very sulky around her mouth. I like the pose but the lighting seems to put too much emphasis on her hair. |

Veroniqueby sahkoComment: Really an interesting picture. The model has a lot of character in her face; however, the pose you are using places emphasis on her feet which look so big in relation to the rest of her. If you cropped this off just below her hands and didn't have it look quite so smooth (neat image?) it would be stunning. |

Untitledby EddyGComment: Really a lovely shot. I think a different color backdrop would have made it even more stunning. The backdrop is so similar in color to your model's hair that it takes away from her hair. She has such pretty hair that it would be nice for it to stand out more. |

Great Expectationsby jpochardComment: Congratulations, Judy, on placing in the Top 10! I remember how anxious you were for this challenge to start as you were so pleased with your picture. I'm really happy for you it did so well. Message edited by author 2004-06-16 01:18:45. |

Waiting for His Walkby pmichaudComment: Nice picture for the challenge. Your dog really looks like he's patiently waiting! It looks very dark on my monitor. Perhaps playing with levels a bit would brighten it up. |

Waiting for the Startby LN13Comment: Great shot for the challenge. To my eyes it would have looked better if it hadn't been tipped like it is - I've looked at it several times and I keep expecting everyone to fall over! |

Waiting for take offby beginers luckComment: Extremely lovely butterfly picture. The colors are beautiful. To my mind, though, it wouldn't convey waiting at all except for the title. |
