the birth of a giantby BeetleComment: This is an absolutely brilliant take on this challenge. I see you studied your subjects well. The circled comment at the upper right corner clearly indicates that the author is Mr. Allen, and as such should counter any comments you may receive that Bill Gates is left handed. Adding the name "Lakeside" is also very well thought out.
Great idea, composition and lighting. Very well done indeed. My highest scoring photo to date. |

Detention room highlightsby beafliesComment: This is a fantastic idea......too bad nothing in the photo is in focus. Properly taken, this would, in my opinion, have garnered a really good score. As it stands, I am very much afraid you will find yourself in the lower half. |

Sonoran Starlight by kirbicComment: I can almost hear the coyotes howling. Seriously, this photograph is something one would expect to see on a travel brochure. It has a very alluring quality to it, and makes me wish I was there. Too bad the moon was not a tad lower, but you certainly have oodles of stars. I can't give you as many points as there are stars in the sky, but I can give you 10. |

Madam Butterflyby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: This photo would be the perfect ad for "Butterfly World" in Florida. I would like to commend you on what I consider a superb photo. The clarity, DOF, Bokeh and vibrant colours make this one of my favorites and it warrants a 10. |

Optometrist May Helpby artvetComment: This would make a great ad.... I really like it. It is simple yes so effective at conveying the message. I have placed this in my upper scale scoring bracket and will come back to revisit it prior to final tabulations.
Great job... keep up the good work. |

Bear Necessitiesby TDCollinsComment: I was looking for an image that I found interesting and that would appeal to the consumer side in me..... and this is definitely one. A truly beautiful photograph that reminds me of when my daughter was much younger and I used to read her bedtime stories.
There are a few shadows which I find a bit distracting, but certainly not enough to merit any severe adjustment in my score. This is so far an 8, and I will be back to revisit this photo before final tabulations are in. Great work. |

For Mommyby cpurserComment: This is indeed a very touching photograph... one that you will re-visit frequently as time passes. Very nice indeed... one can't help but feel the bond between this child and his parents.

Widower's ill sonby ebertdjComment: I cannot believe that anyone would give you a 1 for this astounding photo. I for one gave it an 9 and would in all probability given it a 10 upon my final review were it not for the fact that I never got the chance to conduct a final review.
Fantastic job.... keep up the good work.
