I look at this image and could swear that I have seen this very barn somewhere. The leading lines, presence of the fog and what I assume is the morning light... all of these contribute to making this a very appealing image and is definitely one of the better images I have seen in this challenge.

I might be mistaken, but I seem to recall having been to this kitchen and if I am right it is indeed a "Gourmet" kitchen, replete with herbs growing in an area adjacent to the side of the building.

I look at this image and am reminded of a classical painting. Unfortunately, for the life of me I cannot remember what it is called. Very nicely done... you have managed to capture an image that could readily pass for a painting.

Definitely the most compelling of images I have seen to date. I have no idea where or when you took this photo, but even if it staged this person has managed to display the raw emotions normally associated with fear and submission.

Very nicely done... I do hope the voters will deem this worthy of the front page.

I really like this photo and do hope you do well in the challenge. On a personal note, assuming that the photo had more image content on the left, I would have included all the the child's shadow, more of the bridge and would have cropped out the gentleman and his bike entirely.

But that's just a personal preference.

I normally don't care much for images that are blurry, but in this case, I think motion blur might have actually made the image better in that it would have given the impression of a very hectic day with kids.
