Little house on the leftby RulerZigzagComment: Hmmm, ...my first thoughts were amusement park. Then I read the title. Then got creeped out a little bit. Scrolled down so I couldn't see the photo while typing this comment. ;) |

Molly_05by SeanachaiComment: Coming from the "Want Comments?" thread. Really sweet portrait of your doggy. Makes me miss my own. I love the liquid quality of a dog's eyes and you've captured that well here. Very nice DOF and nice textures: the dog's wet fur, the cruchiness of the snow on his coat. Lovely. |

sunset linesby frumoazniculComment: Coming from the "Want Comments" thread. Very nice BW conversion. My eye keeps going back to the hot spot on the ground, and I'm not sure if I think that's a good thing or not. Beautiful sky and strong sense of lines. |

The Bass Playerby hstegComment: This is just wonderful, and it's a bit shocking to see such a good entry that placed well that has so few comments. The lighting is remarkable considering what you were working with. The composition is just terrific and the overall feeling is one of quiet solitude. Makes me think of the bass player sitting alone in the dark picking off some melancholy tune. The lower hand is a bit hot, and that kind of counters the mood to me a bit. I imagine that's a matter of figuring out new ways to control your creative lighting. Keep at it! |

Takin' a Breather!by cheekymunkyComment: Very nice. I love the coloring. I especially like how his little fist is up in front of him, such dignity in a squirrel. He could be puss-in-boots of the squirrels. Great bokeh too! |

Drone flyby gaurawaComment: Coming from the "Want Comments" thread. You have great focus on the bee! I would like hte flower petals to be in focus as well, or at least the ones in the front. I was using IE to toy with the composition a bit and I found it more interesting with the tips of the petals on the top and left cropped off to give a less centered appearance. All a matter of preferences. |
