Day 17by timfythetooComment: I hope that kitty is just having a little twitch and isn't permanently like that!!!!
A nice low point of view definitely makes this shot stand out.
Very nice.

posingby raishComment: I don't know what it is I have with backgrounds lately, but they seem to keep calling me or something.
Anyway, this background is perfect.
I keep saying that the background should be one color or plain, but I keep forgetting about bokeh!
That's exactly what you have going on here (obviously you know that!!!).
And the texture of the fur and the detail in the eye is spot on.
my only fault would be that piece of wood in the bottom right.
Maybe try and clone it out or crop it out?
otherwise, this is a really good portrait.
well done. |

I'm Going to Walk the Dogby xianartComment: I agree with timmyf (or however you spell his name).
The triptych is great.
the balance to it is perfect and the colors are very complimentary too.
I think you should make it available as a print.
I was at a charity art show not too long back and someone was selling something similar to this, except theirs was a separately framed triptych.
they were all in black and white and had good motion blur.
But I like yours better.

Spooky.jpgby dassilemComment: do you always stick your finger in the cats mouth when they yawn?
I do.
I even do it to humans.
But they seem to get more pissed off with me than the animals do :-)
Anyway, this is a great picture, I can almost smell her breath!!!
Technically: i think that if you have photoshop you could use levels and or curves to make the black fur even blacker.
and I know it's only a small part of the picture, but my eye keeps getting drawn to the top left of the photo and that "orange" block of color.
the right hand side of the photo is two different colors, but it's not distracting, it works well.
That's all :-) |

Day 16by timfythetooComment: This is way too tight of a crop, you've photoshopped the hell out of it and he's a really ugly cat :-)
Nah, just kidding, but you did choose option #4!!!!!
Actually I think the crop is perfect, you've got the whole face in there and no distracting background elements.
the focus on the eyes is just about perfect.
the whole picture has an almost painterly qaulity to it.
well done 7/10 |

Day 14by rtscribbs02Comment: a nice cute kitty, he just wants to play and seems very curious.
you've captured the essence of a kitten very well.
the shoe lace is a little difficult to see though |

Pirate Ducksby ttphotoComment: by simply photographing this against a plain background would have made this picture stand out so much more.
a blank wall, a sheet, a towel, anything. |

Duck on Glassby DirtypainterComment: nice colors and you've captured them well, but the image isn't really "inspired".
it's just a duck sitting on a mirror? |
