This is a case where the photo doesn't really seem to fit the challenge (at least to my way of thinking) and the title tries to drag it in. Alternatively it is a subject which speaks volumes to you in the context you exist in, but without your context, the photo doesn't convey to me the same meaning or emotional payload.

Interesting low key approach to the subject. It evokes an emotional reaction in me ... run away! I guess fairy tale creatures may have known fear after all.

Wow, I like the angle. I don't get the feeling of time passing, however.

GREAT idea! I like the composition and the way you placed the buildings in the frame. It would appeal to me more if it were in razor sharp focus and if I could see a bit more contrast in the land. I didn't initially like the little bit of sky I can see, but on reflection it helps with context. So I wouldn't change it but I might try to bring out a bit of detail in the sky (assuming it's there inthe first place.)

Interesting idea. + points for creativity, focus, and dynamics. It looks like you tried pretty hard to keep the blue in the frame. I might have cropped it differently to focus more on the top 2/3rds.

This creeps me out. In that sense it does a good job delivering an emotional punch. + points for creativity. - points for composition.

Great idea. Good execution (at least on the right side focus). There are some distracting artifacts in the overlap on the left. + points for degree of difficulty.

I am sure you have seen the effect of your long title without spaces on the presentation of thumbnails. So I won't nag you about it. It's a decent idea for a photo and fits well with the theme. I can imagine that if you had access to a real skeleton this could have been an evocative and creepy photo. As it is, it is a cartoon of a humorous reality for us all. + points for creativity. - points for execution. It did make me smile though.

Meets the challenge but to me it feels weak in composition. You've done a nice job with focus. and I tend to like shallow depth of field, although voters here seem not to. Levels could use some work. A bit greater saturation of the glasses might add a bit of pizazz. In the end, I am handicapped because I consider crossword puzzles a waste of time and I therefore don't find the subject all that interesting. I am sure there are uses for this in Stock Photos where the meaning is added through combining the photo with other content. Sorry to seem negative.

There were an awful lot of ticking clocks. Woody adds a bit of whimsy to an otherwise cliched subject. Bump a couple of points for the humor.
