This is just great. I like the division of the entire frame by the black window frames. I like the individual reflections in each window. I like the distortions. I like the colors. It might be a post-modern stained glass window. Among best in show.

Who would have thought a photo of cooling towers could be attractive? Certainly not me, but I would have ben wrong. You've created drama in the juxtaposition of towers and sky on the one hand, and the folliage on the other. Everything about it just seems to work. Among best in class.

You have given us a dramatic photo on several levels. A dramatic abstract. A dramatic landscape. And a dramatic adventure. The composition with 3 diagonal stripes, as it were, gives us a lot of motion, which I appreciate. And the four figures at the crest of the dune make us care and give a sense of scale. Among best of show.

We have see so many capitol photos at DPC over the years, it's tempting to dismiss this. That would be a mistake. With only light and shadow for your tools, you have given us superb definition of the dome. You've given us a winter context. Arguably the best capitol dome photo in a long time and among best in class.
