I really like this shot. The background colour is gorgeous and I like the juxtaposition of the old, dull fencepost against that riot of colour in the BG. Nice texture on the post and the barbed wire seems really harsh compaired to the post and twig. Hope this does well, I like it a lot. Good luck - 8/10

LOts of nice texture and an okay composition but for me the image seems a little 'flat'. I think its because many of the components of the image are similar in tone. Lots to like in the image though, good luck!

I love this image. The colours are fantastic but for me its the composition that I like most, it breaks all the rules and shouldn't work, but it does. Great work, and I hope it gets the credit it deserves, its a fine image!

Very nice image. I love the colour and the dramatic sky here. My only gripe really is the composition. I find the layers of fences a little confusing to look at, perhaps you could have raised the point of view a little. Overall though, I think this is a fine image and really nice to look at. 7/10

I know what you were trying to achieve here but I don't think it quite worked. For one the shape of the hat is not that well defined merging into botyh the sky and rock. Also there is a real lack of detail in the scene with the foreground a little out of focus and over exposed.

It was a good idea, and the landscape is very nice, perhaps had you used a tripod and not used flash the image might have been a little more successful.

Very nice kitty portrait, with bags of detail nice comp and a spot on focus and exposure (particularly nice exposure, no blown out hightlights). As for the background, for me it is a little distracting, even though it has been thrown well out of focus. Of course, the backgound is something to be given a lot of consideration as this is a Bokeh challenge.

I guess the bokeh is nice enough, but would have prefered a less busy BG, 6/10

Nice idea and execution, but for me the image is missing that little something. I think it might be that it could do with a little more saturation to bring out the colour. Also the burned out areas are a little distracting.

Good effort all the same, good luck

Nice shot. I like the tight composition and the exposure is right on the money. The light on the underside of the palm and fingers is great and shows some nice texture on the hands. Good job and good luck!

A nice, dramatic image here, with the towers making an interesting set of silhouettes. For me, the sky really makes this image, it has lots of nice detail and is only burned out here and there.

The image is very small, so it makes the image hard to judge fairly. For me the composition is poor, you need to take care of details like a straight horizon but also need to spend more time considering what your subject is.

Obviously your intention was to make a feature of the power lines, but the are very small in the frame and so it isn't clear whether they are the focus point of the image or not.

Hope I haven't rained on your parade too much, keep shooting and your eye will improve, just remember, composition is everything!
