Rustby bmatComment: Hey - that's not rust!
Hold on a moment..... I get it!
You're challenging the 'voter' to re-evaluate their
conception of the metal dominated "rust" orthodoxy.
I really like this picture but I think you could have benefitted form a tighter crop.
It's a shame about that white thing at the bottom left. Otherwise well taken. |

life:death/green:rustby AlexHugelComment: Interesting, you've substituted "conventional" "rust" for "nature's" "rust" or "God's" "rust" as I like to see it.
Conceptually challenging and beautifully taken. Where was the light source? 7 |

Rusted But Still Trustedby ShakeyComment: 'Ah - a bit of rust never hurt anyone...
Hang on a minute - they're jammed, soon fix that.
Aarg! I've just lost two fingers! Help - there's blood
everywhere.'
Let that "reconstruction" be a lesson to you: NEVER TRUST RUST |

Garden rustby stickylizardComment: Leaf is a little out of focus. Might have overdone the unsharp mask. Bit brighter and a bit more colour might have helped make it stand out too.
Apart from all that, it's great. |

Stationeryby gwsallenComment: Well taken but dreadfully dreadfully dull
- I should add:
Since the purpose of this site is about improving one's
technical ability, this is a first rate shot.
I could do with a few lessons in lighting and exposure myself.
Quite why you've gone for a still life of some clips is beyond
me, though. I always find shots like this hard to vote on - it
leaves me cold, so I want to give it a 3, but I can't fault it
technically so I should give it at least a 5? I'll go 4 |

Proper Proportionsby dixonp1Comment: You pervert! Did you get your friend to go crouch next to her so you'd look like you were taking a picture of her? He looks like a right kiddy fiddler! Did make me laugh though, and I have a rule - if I laugh out loud, I score high - 7 |

Reaching for a dreamby bobdaveantComment: I really like this - seem to be some lighting issues though. I don't know how you'd correct without losing the brilliant beam from the top left. 6 |
