Me And My Shadowby aKiwiComment: Good shot and good cropping. I think the border detracts, makes the snow look blue. |

Piercing Glareby xcharrierComment: Too many filters were used in this contest. In my opinion they really don't stand a chance against the crisp contrast of a smaller amount of orange used as the primary focus. His eyes really do look cool here, though. |

"I Look Fat!"by MarjoComment: Great concept! Very original.
(I think. I've only been here a couple weeks and the first time I saw it I thought the water droplets were original. Or the inverted colors within the glass. Hmmm, now I'm all paranoid about saying things are 'original'. But, really I like this idea...) |

Inner Sanctumby TooCoolComment: This is a unique photo within this challenge because it's both interesting and in sharp focus. Oh, and you got some orange in there too, hehe. |

Untitled #18by TampaDanComment: Very nice abstract feel. The smooth transitions from whit to black is beautiful. |

Pastaby willemComment: Very creative. I like it! The shadows and tones are very nice. The jagged ends bother me a little bit, but not too much. |

Self portraitby spectraComment: Interesting and Creative! I'm not good at self portraits, so I'm even more impressed by this one. The only problem that I see is the green tint throughout the middle of the frame. To the left is black on white, then the body seems green but as we move right it fades back to black on white. I think this would have been much more successful in true black and white. Very nice picture though!
Later: I was thinking of cropping out the face and hand because they are distracting. That would make it more abstract. But I really liked the lines along the neck and would have been loath to give then up. |
