~ A ~by Ja-9Comment: Only upon twisting my head 90 degrees did I demystify this delightfully confusing image. This orientation is so much more interesting. The rhythm is certainly there, with the reflection offering a variation of the actual. Enchanting. |

heart beat chartby mariucaComment: Works beautifully as abstract art, especially since I don't know what I'm looking at beyond reflections in water. And it's harmoniously rhythmic, too.
The title is quite apt; it also reminds me of i ching figures. |

Rhythm!by the_rkpComment: Swooping rhythm of curved lines with straight line accompaniment, tied together with blues, greens and some red. Visual music. I'd bet this doesn't look half as good in the daytime. Well-observed. |

Iciclesby jarectorComment: Lovely image of, at first sight, sparkling icicles. Then as you linger you notice the rhythms above them of decorative teeth and waves. The graininess of the house elements nicely brings out the crystalline icicles. Wonderfully observed. |

snow adagioby tvsometimeComment: Simple, very appealing image that winningly joins disparate elements -- fence and footsteps -- together. Very, very nice. The snow looks like ice cream flecked with vanilla bean particles. |

Street Jazzby surmelismComment: Perfect title for this busily syncopated photo -- the cars -- and the more sedate rhythms of the symmetric lines of buildings and streetlamps. Very enjoyable viewing. Black and white choice only emphasizes the rhythms. Excellent. |

Sonata in G Minor for Geese and Fenceby Bear_MusicComment: Beautiful picture that has multiple rhythms --- the fence, the clouds and the geese principally, but the entire image is a rhythmic tour de force. Even so, there's a great sense of peacefulness. I also like how the sun hits the fence slats that are facing it. My personal favorite. |

snow in the parkby tvsometimeComment: Didn't get to comment on this image earlier. The imaginative framing is what makes this shot. The combination of minimal natural (the foreground vegetation) and the minimal man-made (the cropped swing set) adds up to way more than the sum of its parts. The texture of the snow ties it all together, and the glimpse of the staircase is a quirky bonus. |

Sunrise by the fieldsby UrhoComment: I didn't get to comment on this image earlier. Aside from post-processing issues, which I hadn't noticed, I like this image. The lighting brings out considerable delicate detail in both the grasses of the foreground and the clouds of the background, while nicely allowing the midground to go to silhouette. |

the path we tookby jmritzComment: Didn't get to comment on this image earlier. I admire how with such minimal information so much is suggested and alluded to. In revisiting, I wish I had given this a 10 instead of a foolishly hasty 7. |
