They have the rhythm of a chorus line here, and our attention is especially held by the startlingly vivid eyes. The rhythms of life are also being invoked. It's a strong image that holds one's gaze. |

Staccatoby salmiakkiComment: This burst of pigeons creates a tumbling sort of rhythm against the background rhythm of the bridge. It's very lively, and draws the viewer deep within the image. I like how the pigeon on the upper right seems to be actually emerging from the camera. |

Echoby the99Comment: The strong rhythm created by the pilings and walkway of this pier leads to a small opening that resembles a door, lending a sense of enchantment. I like how the crumbling of the structure is brought out. The dark sepia tone of the picture isn't appealing, unless its function is to enhance the feeling of decay. |
