I really like the brash immediacy of this image, the almost unkempt urgency of the situation. Whatever has occurred has spilled a sense of chaos into this shot. Weegee without the bodies. The primary colors, needless to say (but I'll say it anyway), jump right out at the viewer. My personal favorite. And the stars float just overhead.

Lovely living art. Well posed, admirably decorated a la Mondrian. The textures add to the depth of the image. The lighting is also well done. I like how the slightly off-center pose and unlevel hands give dynamism to what could have been a static scene.

Shiny and bright, assertively playful, this is the poster photo for the challenge. They could be Tonka Toys. Comfortably close, overlapping composition. The lines are clear and bold.

The artwork on the wall has a pleasant, breezy feel against which the plastic utilitarian sign clashes, but in an interesting way that feels like serendipity in light of this challenge. And there is a connection at work here -- army surplus on the sign, woman in stylish uniform -- that knits together disparate elements.
