travelling, and for a split second, life is good by herfotomanComment: This could well be located in Area 51, a silhouetted alien spaceship, keenly symmetrical. It's a wonderful surprise in this wide open landscape. The sky is dramatic but seems over-processed for my taste (which, of course, is merely incidental). I like the complex simplicity of it. |

Great Egret Reflectionby bobnospumComment: The bird's ponderously graceful take-off, and its gauzy reflection, appear within a somewhat dream-like, light blue setting. As the moment unfolds the bird disappears upward out of the frame, and its reflection glides across the water, likewise disappearing. That's the continuing charm of the image. |

Split Shotby nygoldComment: The discrete lines of bank, rocks, leaves and lawn, and their reflection, make an interesting horizontal stripe that becomes even more graphically striking when viewed from a distance. I like it. |

Reflected worldby KroburgComment: The central terrain seems to be floating in the sky, like Brigadoon. Its colors are warm and harmonious, except for that bit of bright red on the far shore. The foreground is a bouquet of flowers and greenery. Nice. |

Symmetrical 5by HarveyGComment: Crisp, colorful image. Symmetry in motion. The smudge of the moon gives balance, depth and interest to the picture. |

another springby jmritzComment: A casual, offhanded nod to symmetry in the midst of everyday life. The wheel barrow's handles/legs shyly peek out from behind the load. A biker happens by. The image is well and pleasingly balanced in tone and composition. Impressionistic. Satisfying. |

Life Tends Toward the Symmetrical by Dr.ConfuserComment: Handsome bighorn sheep (?) in front on pose offers his healthy symmetry to the harem. The rings on his horns and the patterns of his facial fur add nuance to the symmetry, though, as an aside, his eyes look a bit off. A very nice portrait. |

Henry - Birds of Preyby Ja-9Comment: Can't say anything that would add to the beauty of this owl. The focus and detail are so good that you can discern the details of the purple rings about his eyes. As his back blurs it blends into the creamy background bokeh. |

Nature Symmetryby Alex_PetriniComment: The butterfly on the far side of this highlighted leaf is like a subdued gem or cameo. Look closely and we see the subtle shades of pattern. For the purpose of symmetry the butterfly is perfectly positioned. Lovely. |

Roof in Harpby GeorgesBogaertComment: Before I figured out the vertical perspective of this image it was a visual wonderland that I marveled at but could not figure out. But it still retains a sense of fantasy once it's righted. A fun, impressive photograph. |
