Follow the patternby clickodakComment: Nicely seen elegant patch in the tunnel, glossy and rhythmic, like a strip of taffy. I like how it's both realistic and abstract. |

sittingby TiberiusComment: Elegant pattern of silver chairs, with the woman in red as the cherry on top. I like the natural ease of this image and congratulate the photographer for his/her patient disposition in allowing the scene to speak for itself. |

Veil Between Worlds - Glimpse of Fairylandby pmichaudComment: A magical tour de force of bubble wrap (or some such) fronting a lit-up scene. Both halves of the title are perfectly descriptive -- might be suitable to offer just one. I'm really taken by this imaginative pattern. |

Down, Down, Down... by CuttoothComment: Beautifully handled composition of classic receding pattern. The detail and color are perfect. This is sure to garner a very high rating, and deservedly so. I love the splash of red on the mechanism on the pipe. A dizzying confection. |

Spin Doctorby NeilComment: Absolutely spot on depth of field, highlighting the protagonist on his/her web. The magical point is how the slice of the web implies the entirety of the pattern splayed out within the bokeh. Admirably fashioned. |

The Galleryby PenelopeKComment: It may be a gallery, but you've caught and highlighted the mesmerizing, transitory pattern of those blinds thrown across the wall and ceiling. It brings the outside in, a wandering cloud of sun and shadow. The composition is excellent. The heavy grain works very well. |

Patterns of fun and fearby redpandaComment: A bouquet of patterns, fun and exciting. Fine composition and perfect in black and white, reflecting the nostalgic feel of the wooden roller coaster. This image would make a terrific poster. |

Kiwiby UrhoComment: This strange pattern in amber is a revelation of kiwi-ness, a much-appeciated reminder of the infinite bounty awaiting discovery by the curious artistic sensibility. Bravo to the photographer. It offers a platform from which the imagination can wander. |

Urban Sunsetby BenstedComment: Beautiful hi-tech playground. The buildings, though basically graph-like in facade, handsomely reflect the lowering sun to provide a stunning backdrop to the ferris wheel. The lovely coup de grace is the sunset's capture by the four ferris wheel compartments, like a procession of snow globes or Christmas ornaments. There's pattern galore here, but it doesn't feel in your face to me.
Purely subjective notion: maybe crop it on the right from the two vertical columns outward. |

a gold patterned rear can also endearby primabarbaraComment: A perfect example of elevating a merely interesting sun-flung pattern into something artful and compelling. Admirable and fun. What a lovely palette of golden browns! I like the placement of the model and her pose. My second favorite in the challenger. |
