Where to goby BenstedComment: Original take wherein the painted white arrow points to the darkness as a place of vanishing. The barely visible dashed lines offer paths to take in the unknown. A thoughtful image.
At least that's how I see it. |

NY, NYby hstegComment: Vanishing points are especially spectacular in hyperspace. The lighted buildings also head toward the Freedom Tower, which supplies its own faceted vanishing points. |

Point Break. Midtown.by PennyStreetComment: Rather busy -- well, it is Manhattan -- but the recession of the bikes, which are facing the viewer from the side, and their stands is an unusual take on a vanishing point. The buildings lining the street in the distance also participate in the recession. |

The Never-Ending Bridge...by NikonJebComment: Here's a case where the tilt brings strength and interest to a picture. Yes there's a certain giddiness to it, but it grabs my attention as it whips around to that farther stretch of bridge beyond the first arch. Well executed. |

Train Tracksby ladpupmoeComment: Nice groomed, formal feel to this elegant little scene. It's no nonsense and forceful, and therefor a strong showing. I like that patch of sky that opens the whole image up. |

Over the mountainsby GeorgesBogaertComment: Good vanishing point under the overpass. What I really like here is the palpable sense of summer heaviness in the atmosphere. And the tacit invitation to travel into those mountains along the tracks. |

Alone on the Roadby AmmieComment: Very elegant serpentine road to a distinct vanishing point. There are great curved and straighter lines in this image. The walker is nicely placed. The trees and their interlaced branches make a beautiful frame.
My only subjective quibble is that I'd like to see a darker overall tone. |

Peachy Keenby MelonMusketeerComment: This vividly colored, almost luridly so, scene looks like a page from a Chamber of Commerce booklet. That's not saying I don't like it. It's verve and ebullience carry the day. |
