Lovely colors used to water color effect. The somewhat choppy movement from left to right well supports the mysterious ambiguity of the men exiting the image. Coolly provocative. I like it very much.

Lovely composition. The balance of figures, serpentine land and water, lush finger of grass and mellow sky come together to add up to more than the sum of its parts. The colors are beautiful and calm. Superior to the HDR entry of the same locale.

Gorgeous bird captured in an alert, pert pose, jaunty on its textured perch, this is the standout avian shot. The simple, harmonious background branches and leaves set the subject off most pleasingly. My second favorite.

The 160 limit is excellently utilized here. The city glow, incorporating streetlights, lighthouse and palms, has a carnival atmosphere. This is cunningly balanced by the preponderance of darkness to the left, artfully delineated by the slenderest necklace of lights on the horizon. The merest pixel of light further to the left anchors the entirety of the image to perfection. My favorite entry in the challenge.
