Watch the showby GeorgesBogaertComment: Outstanding tip of the hat image that recalls "Eye Contact." A pointed and lovely in its own right tribute to one of JJ's best loved photographs. And cuter, too. |

fleeting by lei_73Comment: Severe modern lines paired with more traditional structures, nicely conjoined by the steam and punctuated by a solitary, soon to disappear, figure. Nicely seen and handled, well within and honoring JJ's vision. |

You Can Never Hold Back Springby instepsComment: Handsome tonal poem. I like the utter white and black wedges jutting in from the sides and the highly detailed sky and rutted, puddled road from above and below. It's pleasingly asymmetrical. |

life in motion by tateComment: Wonderful picture. The figures are half hidden yet casting magnificent shadows on a beautifully lit and textured ground. A lot of joy here. |

Shadesby beatabgComment: A terrific take on JJ's style -- great lines and perspective and a casually, adroitly observed figure who's idiosyncratic and just out of reach. |

proceed at headway speedby jmritzComment: In addition to the beautifully captured turkey (?) running across the road, and the do not cross lines, let me note, this image is all about atmosphere. One could say it's dreary, but I'd prefer to see it as nature all embracing. It's touching, mysterious and curiously balanced in composition and tone. If JJ found himself in this setting, this would be a shot he'd take. My personal second favorite in this challenge. |

Curves Aheadby jdannelsComment: This image exemplifies, to me, many of JJ's personal artistic interests. To wit, line, texture and people glancingly observed, all caught at a moment of harmonious composition. There is also that quirky, tongue-in-cheek sensibility. This is so beautifully done. My personal favorite in this challenge. |
