Silence by heidaComment: This looks like a Heida photo, very deep and expressive. Good use of desaturation to play up the purple. It seems like there are some brownish tones in the shroud that take away from the purple, but otherwise very nicely done. |

One Last Dipby ToddhComment: My pick for the blue. Great color and composition. I might have cloned out a couple of jet contrails and the two spikes behind his back, but that's about it. Wonderful! |

Angel by heidaComment: OK- show of hands... how many people immediately knew this was Heida? You are one of the few photographers here with a distinct style, and it's really breathtaking. Congratulations on another easy win! |

Connectionby moodvilleComment: Ummm... which side of the glass are you on? Looks like you're right in there with the chimp, and I think that's what separates this from a snapshot. You could crop a bit more off the top, but still a great shot. Message edited by author 2004-07-14 13:01:32. |

The Hudsonby shutterflyComment: The clouds look overexposed. Try pre-focusing on a bright cloud for a better exposure. |

Kinkakuji Templeby JesuispeureComment: One of the better shots this June. Very good composition and a unique subject, but the tilted horizon is distracting. It's a shame the sky wasn't a little more dramatic- puffy clouds, stormy, sunset... |
