Congrats/condolences on 4th place! Missed it by .04. That really is a great shot, and an excellent representation of the Challenge.

Cool effect (and tough with basic editing), but isn't the top of the dice (10) what you're supposed to consider? I suspect that your score will take another hit for shooting a "picture" of seven rather than seven objects.

Judging from your title, I'd guess you were trying to feature the renegade duck in the back, but he's out of focus. Toys and models tend to score low, but the concept is fine, and a more "serious" background might have helped.

Good find, but the gulls are rather expressionless, and iit looks like you had to really crop a lot- the jaggy edges are fairly obvious.

That's not 7, it's 9999969- LOL. Interesting concept. A better background would help IMO (not loving the pink cloth).

Hmm... the odd lighting colors will work against you- it's generally better to just shoot outside in the shade or near a window. The composition is good, but an interesting background would really help (slate, marble, old wood, etc.)

That's pretty darn cool, and a clever use of text. Nice job keeping your own reflection out of the shot. 8

Yep, there's seven of them, but snapshots of someone else's friends and family tend to score poorly unless there is something particularly special about the lighting or composition.

Good color and composition, but probably not the best choice of subject. The photo seems more 'about' the whole carousel than seven of anything.

I'm really surprised this one didn't fare better. Maybe because the camera wasn't digital? ;-)
