Gems in the rockby NonageComment: This is really great. Love the clarity. I have two suggestions. One, remove the colour from the left side buildings to direct attention to the main ones. Crop the water/ground from the bottom: this would make the shot even more 'magical' by making the buildings appear to be clinging to the mountainside. Ben |

kilmory.jpgby lewissComment: This is a fantastic capture. My only crit. is the silhouetted ground at the bottom is a bit distracting. |

calton_people.jpgby lewissComment: Great shot: you can almost see my house. Calton Hill is a great place for photos. Did you manage to stand in the position where you can shoot down the length of Princes St.? |

CGby whiteroomComment: This is a very professional affair in terms of the composition, toning and text. This could so easily appear on the back of a magazine. Some may complain about the string lighting on the fingers but I think it really adds structure to the image. My only criticism is that, rightly or wrongly ,most jewellery ads tend to err on the side of 'glittery opulence' whereas the ring here is quite flat. High scorer nevertheless. |
