Gordon, this was one of the first challenges I saw when I joined as a full member and it almost made me ask for my money back! Its been in my favourites for a while, I must have forgotten to comment.

Rather than being daunted by it, I now aspire to similar greatness but not sure I'll live long enough. Whilst I doubt getting the image like this was simple, thats what it conveys and makes it a stronger image.

Of your recent cruise pics (all gr8) this is my favourite. would love to know how you captured the red whilst keeping the background so vibrant. My only thought (after some time viewing) would be to shift the horizon a degree or two to the left?

I didn't vote in Neon but would probably have given it a 5 or 6. Now, don't get me wrong but if I'd have known it was taken by a 12 year old it would probably have scored a 7 or 8 from me. Not only do you have talent behind the lens (composition etc) but you already have a fine grasp on post editing. I look forward to more of your pictures Andrea.

This is a great photo for my dark monitor :) I've just found out about high key images and think this is a great example and the title lends itself to the distant birds. If the person was on the left I'd have suggested doing a crop to make the image much slimmer (maybe 3:1)

I really like this shot Kylie, fairy tale qualities (hint). I see what Arielle means but I like it 'as is' You can alsmost feel the tree has magical qualities and most probably has elves and the like living in there.

Did you do much post processing on this Kylie? I really like the light and dirrering colours on the waves and the seagull surveying all that is his. It just needed one of the surfers to be, well, surfing :)
