Colleen, am glad your are an (almost) safe drive-by shooter, 100 duds to get a couple of keepers is a decent average. After doing Karen's krnodil Pinhole SC in November I find I can compose a shot quite well without looking through the viewfinder these days and am sure your hit ratio of duds to keepers will improve ;)

Yes, the oof image says so much more than one of those tack sharp and straight shots (you know, the ones you see oft on dpc) and, an excellent LB friendly title. This image tells the story well and the biker (his fault or not)deserved every bit of gravel rash that scars him.

There have been a few images in this SC with the 'painted' effect but for me this is probably one of the best of a very good bunch. I'm not normally a fan of this treatment but love this shot, its clean, bright and I want to buy one of those houses!

Erin, you have a vision few can match imho, 'simply' brlliant! I'm at risk of actually wanting to go to an art gallery one day and say lots of 'arty' type stuff about, well anything.

Now, thats a great idea, you mean like a small image in a big (subtle) frame? I think that would add to the aged look and, on a small canvas you could pass this off as a painting quite easily.

Great capture Deb! Your crop for composition is perfect and this image has so many stories to tell. I'm not sure if its your pp'ing but the B&W conversion seperating the dark blacks from the grey of the BG adds another dimension.

Deb, I love this, almost as much as your pinhole version. Whilst like how the foreground leads you into the crowd of people I like how a crop from bottom to just below the first pedestrians foot makes the image take on a whole knew look and I might prefer it.
