Tristezzaby Rino63Comment: Greetings from Andi via the Critique Club
First Impression: Rather than being drawn to the texture of the dead flowers I'm distracted by the rather boring wall.
Composition: The central composition isn't doing this image any harm, then again, its not very interesting.
Tecnical: This doesn't 'pop' or have any 'wow' factor for me, exposure is ok but the focus is a little soft in places
Artistic: For me this is rather bland and have much artistic value sorry.
Overall thoughts: I guess you chose this location for the nice little crack? but I think it was the wrong choice. I just glanced at your profile and saw your top 2 submissions are flowers and am sure you agree that they are so much better than this. 5.5 is a good final score I think.
Get in touch if you'd like to discuss further Gennaro. |

Stand Outby aprudhommeComment: ok, you say you edited this in the LB style? did you use one of the actions knocking around the web or do it all yourself? As Zigomar says its a valiant attempt but until you actually shoot with a lensbaby even though you may (almost) replicate the LB effect in PP sadly you will miss the LB owners 'rush' when they create the image in camera and of course seeing and capturing the LB blur in realtime.
I see it as a good thing that even though you don't own a LB you want to join in and looking forward to your next shot (try it with a bit of LB bend). Thanks for this, I like it! |

Dragonheart Oarsby cryanComment: Chris, this is wonderful, did you shoot the entire event with the LB? (probably not lol). This is a great composition, super colour and for me a great shot for advertising the event in the future? |

Down from Up from Downby ZigomarComment: This is a little creepy but another great image in a fun set. A little birdy told me we may have a break from the 'Leg my frame' series but I do hope to see it continue soon! In fact I think it would be cool if your next 6 shots went in the Free Studies! |

Above the Fenceby LeoComment: If I'm honest I'd just crop this to the right 20% or left 20% and leave the LB blur to do its thing :) Do you feel free of the 'rules' when you shoot into the sun cos I know I do :) |

Fish Onby LeoComment: I didn't have a clue what this was going to be from the thumb and whilst its not a 10 and instant fav from me it is pretty cool and yes, I guess it would have been hard to track them with the LB. Lovely colours btw! |

YOU by ZigomarComment: Yup, the blood and nitroglycerin where the two things that jumped out at me. Maybe we are witnessing a serial killer that photographs his victims moments before doing away with them? |
