Obviously you were going for something here that I don't quite get. Can't make out what the box represents. Lighting is a bit too harsh. Sorry! :(

Interesting angle. The shadow from the sandal on the left is nice as it extends the subject. Focus seems a little fort. Wonder why you cropped the way you did and why you didn't crop out the gray blotch at the left?

Bizarre post-processing! It has a comic book flavor to it. The weakes part of the image seems to me to be the overly-bright spot on the steering wheel--it just draws undue attention.

Whoa! Two great horned owls in one challenge! (Your's is better.) Nicely limited DOF, good detail in the feathers, classic pose! Bored? He looks pretty keen, to me...

Setting aside the challenge topic for a moment... skulls can be interesting.
I think your choice of background detracts--and none of that, "but that's where I found it" stuff--it's dead, you can move it. The lighting is flat, there's nothing in the light to help sculpt the 3-dimensional nature of your subject. This could benefit from cropping as well--as is, your subject just might be the grass.
Now, the challenge topic, do I really have to tell you you're pushing it? Funny, though. You'll find a good use for your sense of humor and quirky way of seeing the world in future challenges, I'm sure.

Interesting image. But for this challenge? I think she looks more pensive than bored. The diagonals lend a strong graphic quality, especially as paired with the striped pants. But they also lend energy--maybe counteractive for your topic. Outside of the challenge, I think this is really strong.

Cute! The flying wisps of hair is a great idea. The lighting is lovely on your model, unfortunately, the background is distracting. A less vibrant material, less DOF, backlighting, something along those lines to help define the model's hair...

This is a nice renditon of a sculpture. The lighting and focus lend a truely dreamy effect to your composition. The border seems a bit much, to me. Otherwise a solid image.

Tuckered out! I think I've seen this panda before...recently. :)

To my eye, a tighter crop would have helped the composition. The limited depth of field is a good start, but there's a great deal of uncessary information here, in my opinion. The color feels washed out, perhaps setting black point or adjusting hue would make the panda's coat richer without lsing the detail in the fur.

My goodness! Now that's a serious case of the blahs! (I hope you were able to get him some proper attention without delay!)

It does have a snapshot feel to it. A little closer cropping might have helped---especially off the top eliminating the hotspot on the microwave and some of the nearby red garment.
