goose. goose.by cheleComment: Interesting angle and juxtaposition of the two geese.
Wish the Canada Goose still had the tip of its beak.
Exposure is a bit blown out...could be effectively used to carry a graphic quality but, in that case, I think you need to tone down the background colors. |

Birdie Bed-Headby ArtysteComment: Love the title. Sharp focus where it needs to be, controlled dof.
Makes a decent portrait of an emu. (Was this the challenge for emus, or what?)
Good luck. |

Male Northern Cardinal Taking Flightby janrussComment: Wonderful wing action! The red seems a bit off--did you up the saturation on this?
Hard to capture these quick birds other than on a perch, I applaud the effort.
Grass, however, is one of the dreariest background imaginable for most subjects. |

Saint Alban's Babyby sparklyComment: Beautiful detail in the feathers.
Odd bit of yellow on the beak suggests you pumped the saturation a bit too much in post-process. |

Wing Dingby OlyuziComment: Interesting moment.
Like the coloration.
It's an interesting capture with the wings just so, but it doesn't really "say" much, I'm afraid. |

Dans l'attenteby muur88Comment: Wonderfully rendered B&W! What an interesting image with the pigeons looking on!
Don't understand your title perfectly...but that really doesn't detract.
Good luck with this quirky street scene. |

Territorial Dispute!by sfaliceComment: Nice egret shot! The detail is a joy to look at. I wonder why you didn't crop the right side...it pulls the eye away to ill effect. Color on the palms is a bit strange, green is so hard to do well. . . . . . |

Steller's Jay on a Windy Dayby SammieComment: Lovely texture and motion on this Jay! An expertly made portrait. I wonder if his coat is ruffed not only because of the wind, but because he's a juvenile? Looks to be between plumages.
Color well rendered. Perhaps desat on yellow would have pulled down the orange spot and lessened the tug of the green that competes with your subject. Nicely captured, nonetheless . . . . . . . . |
