I can see you were going for a romantic portrait. Her pose and expression are nice. The light is a bit harsh throughout the image...it casts heavy shadows on your model's face and creates a difficult exposure with the background. I'd like to see more blur in the background to help set the model off. Compositionally, I think she's too near the left of the frame almost creating a merger. It's the details that make or break an image.

Not really sure what you're going for here. Is it the smiling soldier or the wall that is the subject? Something odd going on with the color in the sky...yellow clouds?

Simplicity is the Key

The desaturation gives this an unearthly feel...I think you've lost some of the beauty of the berries in doing it. The cropping at the top seems awkward as if your subject were sacrificed to fit the frame. I guess the inclusion of the door gives this a sense of place, of being in a garden, but it doesn't really add much else to the subject.

Nice idea but...The merger of the white shirt with the fungus carries the eye away from your subject. The fungus itself might benefit from a little more sharpness and definition...it feels a bit over-exposed.

I like the high-key treatment and, generally, the pattern, though it's lost somewhat to the faintness. Not crazy about the placement of focus...wish that one part with the black background was sharp like the ones nearby.
