Going by the comments in the forums, I'll bet you're getting hammered on your score. This photo has interest--I like the choice of display, draping the "winning" flag over the other. It's too bad that the US flag shows through--perhaps placing something white between the top layer and those under it would help. The composition is nice, the colors, shadows, sharpness all well done. Overall, a good study.

Interesting idea for this challenge! There's a good start at building tension in the viewer with the threat of the inevitable--wonder how far you could have pushed the pencil in to create just a bit more.... Nice depth of field and use of light and color. Overall, not bad.

Nice idea for this challenge. The refraction from the lens detracts somewhat--perhaps if you'd waited a few more minutes the trees would have obscured the sun enough to make this more pleasing.

Good idea for the challenge. I like the contrasting concepts and textures. The overexposure in the brights causes loss of detail and takes attention away from the more interesting subjects. Overall, a fine photo.

Nice idea for this challenge! Old/new, small/large, coarse/fluffy.... Color is beautifully done, lovely contrast, well framed. One tiny, little quibble, wish that one seed head with the black background was as sharp as most of the others--because it's in the center it draws attention. Overall, a very good pic.

A good idea for this challenge. The reflections of light and shadow cast by the jars really "makes" the subject. Just wish there was a bit more of the cast light. The size of the photo makes it hard to appreciate. (Try to max out that 640 pixels on the longest side for best display in these challenges.) Overall, a decent pic.
