Great work - very yellow, lot's of texture and a nice focal point. It looks like you had a light source behind the flower - which really helps to make the petals glow. Good luck - I think you'll do well.

Unfortunately this isn't very yellow compared to most of the other submissions and you might suffer a little for that. Also, I probably would have cropped this image a lot closer. Having said that, it's still an interesting photo

Nice selective colour fading - assuming that's how this was achieved. Focus is quite good. The photo has an "interesting" quality about it that makes me keep looking at it. Well done.

That's a very interesting crop you have used. Focus is fine, although the image seems to have a slight green tinge to it.

I like the composition of this shot, and the border is nice and simple. About the only negative I have is a small spot at the top centre of the image - perhaps dust? Lighting is nice and soft. Well done.

What an interesting photo. It looks like several of the walls, columns and background are painted in the enclosure. Is the person really in with the giraffe? The colours have a lovely soft pastel feel to them - Good work. You probably could have had the child hidden a little more, but that doesn't change my vote in this instance.

I've searched this photo but cannot find a person. I hope you aren't merely claiming that there must have been someone somewhere. Who/where is the person in your shot? It looks like a lovely building to photograph but this photo is quite dark as a result of the shadows.

blackEYE peas

blackEYE peas

Comment:
It's an interesting photo - lots of texture is created by the peas. The lighting seems quite well done - well lit but without too much flaring. The person is hidden in one sense, but not in another - kind of meets the criteria with a touch of imagination.

Comment:
It's an interesting shot, but the person is hardly "hidden". So, while you get points for a technically well executed shot with nice colour, texture and composition you lose a couple for topic.

Nice work - very well hidden (the foot helps give it away thankfully). You shot is also quite nice, although I think it's cropped a few mm too close at the top. No other complaints though - it's quite a good effort.
