It's an interesting shot, but I would have preferred more contrast with the background - although I'm not sure which colour would look good. Depth of field is ok - just a little blurry at the top of the pencil. Composition is good.

There is plenty of contrast and your decision to light the mug from behind - and make it glow - was definitely a good one. I might have left a little more whitespace above the mug (ie: cropped less at the top).

This is actually an ok photo - a little bit different and interesting. I would have definitely removed the sticker from the banana though. The perspective of the pavers adds an interesting element to the photo.

I suspect the image may have been recoloured which makes your question very difficult to answer. The shot is ok, but doesn't hold my attention - it's just a close up of some unknown object.

clown & a dead soldier

The clown is a bit out of focus and the lighting looks too harsh (especially the reflection in his head). Other than that it's a good shot - nice composition. I don't quite get why the bottle and clown are in the one shot (perhaps I shoud recognise the title).

I think the white of the ground is a little too bright - perhaps overexposed. I think it's cropped perhaps a little too tightly - I prefer to see the edges of the person rather than them being just slightly cropped. This would include both hands and streamers, and to a lesser degree her dress. Other than that the photo is very nice.

Nice work - the focus is very good and the colours are nice and rich. Personally I wouldn't have included the white border for this site, but it is traditional I guess. You have lit the flower very well.

Good work - a little bit of a snapshot but excellently taken, which more than makes up for it. Framing is very good. Colours are vivid, her expression is great and yellow definitely dominates the picture. Well done.
