Crossingsby ImagineerComment: Nice work - so many different elements combined into the one shot. Crossings is a good title. Black+white was probably a very wise decision, otherwise there would have been too much going on in the shot - it's already very busy without colour. The slightly soft contrast (rather than vivid black and white extremes) also works well for me, makign the shot less aggressive. |

Buffalo City Hallby photogrlComment: The deep blue sky works wonderfully - this shot has great colour from the red/orange road to the yellow (attention grabbing) building to the blue sky. It's a shame about the traffic lights and poles though - they kind of cut right through the building. I wonder if you could have recomposed slightly to fix this - maybe not though. |

Red Light Districtby CutterComment: I'm going to assume you used selective colour replacement - hence the reason for an orange car and two red cars still. I love the result. If you were printing this I'd be tempted to leave them coloured as they currently are. Great work - I'm really impressed by this shot. |

Urban 911 (Circa 1968)by Baron152Comment: Awesome - I love historic items like this. They always seem to present photographic opportunities. My only criticism would be the harshly lit spot at the top of the box - probably from the sun. You probably had few options to avoid this but ideally a diffusion panel would have softened the lighting (including the shadow from the handle). I love the colour - glad you chose that over black+white. |

Riding the Subwayby jpetersComment: Good work - the blurring of the train is done beautifully, just enough to show motion but not overdone. The almost-silohuetted people also works really good. Their faces really stand out compared to the darkened clothing. Great job! |

Searching up to find the sky.by notesinstonesComment: Nice artistic interpretation of this shot. I like the rich blue and red/brown in the shot. Well done. There appears to be a spot in the top-left corner of the sky (about 20-50 pixels in) - perhaps dust on your lens / sensor? |

Willby tateComment: Stunning portrait! Need I say any more? Colour is brilliant, composition is great. Bordering on being over-sharpened, but not quite (for this size at least). Perhaps for this challenge placing him in the city (via the background) would have been effective, but it's still a great shot. |

State Streetby ElmakiasComment: I like the colour, although the slight rotation in the image was immediately distracting. Unfortunately, simple things like this can really distract viewers so always watch out for them - a quick rotation in any image software would have corrected this. |

Houston Metro Finestby amcraigComment: That's a very good shot of the tram - in action in a fairly attractive surrounging. Maybe a polarising filter would have reduced the glare/reflection on the drivers cabin. Composition / framing is quite good |

No Lifeby EaThisComment: There doesn't seem to be a tree growing there yet. I'm assuming that your statement is that there is a lack of natural plant life in the city. |
