I love the tight crop and the DoF.

The lighting in general is good, except for the mixed colours. The combination of bluish, white and yellowish highlights is a bit distracting. If it wasn't correctable in post, you should have gone with B&W (maybe recover the color on the red elements afterwards). Unless, of course, the mixed lighting was your intention. A bit more microcontrast/structure/clarity would have been nice, as well.

All in all, a solid take on the camera portrait challenge.

One of the rare entries that emphasized the "portrait" part of the challenge. I like that. Maybe the golden eyelashes were a bit of an overkill, but maybe not :-)

Good one. Hats down to the idea and the execution.
I almost tried a similar approach. A shot through the vertical viewfinder of a TLR. Instead of a cityscape, the subject's subject would have been another vintage camera. The orientation and the size of the viewfinder made it a very tough shot and i gave up. I wouldn't have been as effective as yours, anyway.

That reflection is really killing this excellent idea for me.

Nice one. Nice subject, idea and lighting. Compositionally, i would have cropped a bit to the bottom. Actually more than a bit and left only about half of the reflection.

Nice camera shot. Black-on-black is the standard approach here. Lighting is soft and subtle and the DoF is spot on. One thing it lacks the WOW effect. I would also prefer a shorter lens without the lens cap (with the front glass exposed).

ETA: Major typo at the end. :-)

So much unused potential in this idea.
- B&W, please.
- The background is too cluttered and has distracting elements.
- Lighting needs some more work.

There are two of these in this challenge. And the location looks similar. Joint photowalk?
I like this one more than the other.

Interesting orange element.
I'm a bit bothered by the composition or more precisely the PoV. The horizontals look straight, but the verticals are definitely not. This could have been corrected in post or avoided by having a more straight-on shooting location.
