Fontaine des mersby mikhaelComment: This is a fairly nice image. I believe the colours within the center piece is really what allows this image to create interest. It appears canted to the side a bit, perhaps a more balanced/level composition would allow this piece higher scoring, but I still gave above average. |

Rain outside My windowby MadukesComment: I am sure many people will score this lower. Though I scored it higher. The clarity of the window steam/moisture is there. The colours could pop a bit more but there is really something familiar about this. Many days I suppose in Washington State I looked at the rain outside my window. |

St. Louis Cathedralby bobccComment: I find this an incredibly interesting image. Not for the content, but for the style. I look at this and I believe it could be a miniature model. The way the elements sit against one another appear manufactured from original and not the original. Overall nicely captured, the colours and clarity are fantastic. |

Rotor Washby CorySmithComment: I scored this a bit higher because of the element of difficulty to capture something like this. I am wondering what it would look like though if it was black/white with the contrast pushed a bit. It make create a nice dramatic feel, or it make look like snot. Just wondering. Overall, nice capture. |

Dragon's Wrath by RianBotesComment: I think what draws me so much to this image is not the lighting, but the clarity of stone along with the colour of the dramatic landscape with the hovering clouds far above. |

Enter The Umbrella Manby QuigleyComment: I really enjoy the old feeling of this image. Brings me back to the classic movies and serials. The dark starkness of the walls and cloths are balanced against the lightness of his face and smoke well along with the bright entrance sign really make this an interesting image. |

Through the Yearsby karmatComment: even with the noise I find this to be one of the better portraits. The muted colours work extremely well and often times we have seen similar activity. |

On a Sunny Saturdayby jegerComment: This image is nicely contrasted in my opinion. The candidity of this image also adds a nice simple element against the sharp lines of the buildings. |

Angry Watersby DrakeComment: What really catches me here is nearly everything. The colour of the churning water to the clarity of ice on the tower. Though for me personally I would liked to have seen the frame move to the viewer left a bit. The drop of interest on the catwalk distracts my eye. If the frame was moved it would add more interest with the rolling water also it would allow the tower to be moved into the 1/3 position. |

Lost in a Winter Wonderland....by mfrauenhofferComment: One of the better portrait type images in the challenge. The dramatic feel of the bright purple/black the model is wearing along with the snowfall ad a nice element to the image. It also creates a nice contrast in front of the dull gray/muted tomb. |
