Portrait with 2 lightsby TCGuruComment: you are so undeniably cute. I tend to like the dramatic lighting. But maybe a tad stronger on your right side. Also, I don't care much for the light spot in your left eye. But still... undeniably cute 6-; |

Day-23-- Orwellianby JutildaComment: this is creepy, more attack of the 60' woman, than a billboard L()L. I say that because your image has so much depth, it does not look flat, like most billboard images. It has life. Very nice work. |

Day Nineteenby Art RoflmaoComment: Good stuff, I like both versions. The first because it is comedic and the second because its more serious like the inspiration... Nice work. |

"I swear, I'll start working out.......tomorrow"by UbersteinyComment: From the Critique Club
How are you doing today? I am going to touch on a few items with your image.
Colour;
Your colour looks fairly nice here, I just think there is a bit to much yellow on your chest, which could be from your spotlight? everything else seems to balance nicely, the blue/gray of the shorts matches the weights, your skin tone matches the carpet, bottle lable matches wieghts. Very nice job.
DOF/Focus;
Focus looks really great here, everything apears to be in focus. I can even make out the carpet strands, and read the beer label.
Post;
You didn't do much for post, and mostly it appears you didn't have to. The blacks look black the lights are light, and the medium tones are nice. One thing I might have done, is maybe dodge a bit on the chair, to see more of the leg coming down, and a hint of seat. Just a horizon't glint you might say. The way it appears now, at first glance you seem to be floating.
Off Items;
As I said before, your chest seems a bit yellow. Also, the back of your head fades a tad much I think into the background. A really soft highlight to see the back of your head may give a stronger feel. You could do this with a reflector.
Other;
I think this is a clever idea. You captured the procrastination very well. I just noticed the beer cap still on the bottle? I am assuming it was left to see the top of the bottle., if that is the case you might have angled the light a bit different to get the top. But if that is not the case and a highlight.. than you are good to go.
Nice Job

Cold-Feetby JutildaComment: This is bizzar, I like it. 6-;. It appears to be a dogs leg/paw. However the shaggy hair coming down throws you and makes one wonder.. hmmm what else could it be? The texture of the snow on the ground I think really makes this image great. So many little details, and I would hang something like this on my wall. Because people would stop look at it and go ... Ummm Hey, What is this? L()L Great way to start a conversation. Nice work. |

IMG_0084.jpgby dwterryComment: I love the angle, the lighting is also great. However, it isn't the most flattering way to shoot a wedding couple imo. Basiclly it creates a double chin effect for both of them. Even though I really do like this extreme amount of angle I have to wonder, if there is possibly another way to pose the couple a little more flattering and keep the angle? Hmmm. Very nice work, I will have to come back to your port when I have more time. |
