Wonderful themed collection. For me, the thick black border works very well but the contemporary white lines are a little harsh. They scream for my eyes attention when I really want to see the delicate details in your images. Maybe a thin gray line would work better? I'd leave the text off too and make it more about the photographs and not the presentation. Thanks for sharing this beautiful set of images.

I find this essay, along with your others, very interesting. You create collections of variations on a theme. It appears you're searching for a clearer understanding but in the end more questions arise. Something so simple to understand yet we really know little about it. Looking forward to your future musings.

Glad to see you back and participating in the photo essay side challenge. Some terrific images in this collection. A few that linger longer in my mind are "charcoal", "my heart melts", and "ripples". Have you considered combining poetry and images? Seems like a nice fit for your work.

I agree with Don, your work is terrific in this format. What I find most interesting about this series is how the details fade as we proceed. With each image a little less is revealed. We want to know more but then again do we really. That's why I find so many of your images compelling. You give us room to explore and think.
