Lovely bleached analog look to this. The heavy vignette isolates your main subject and helps simplify this complex scene. Your composition, with leading lines from the bent legs, pulls us in. Terrific catch! Be careful out there.

I'm not usually drawn to images of birds. We see so many. Your choice of DOF and the wire fence really pull me in. The center composition seems a natural fit too. All in all, a terrific nature photograph.

I remember escalators like this in Taiwan. The shopping carts have magnets in the wheels so they don't roll while riding up and down. A well deserved top three. Congratulations!
