I was reading about Santacon a while back on Jeremiah's Vanishing NYC. It's an interesting blog about NYC that I think you'd enjoy.

It sounds like Santacon wasn't all you hoped it would be. I think you did a nice job capturing the character of Santacon. Maybe not NY at its best but a lovely subject for an essay. The Coney Island Mermaid Parade might be a little more fun ;-)

Herman, you have an Eadweard Muybridge "River of Shadows" thing going on here. Might be interesting to display this as a grid. A simple and effective essay that's a joy to peruse.
