Tuesday, September 27by mariucaComment: Great take on the challenge, I love those fractured reflections. as a pure study of light the upper frame with the power lines and the flare is beautiful, but it makes the +1 too marginal. A tighter frame would have been a better entry, even though it would probably not have been as good a photograph. |

Treasureby CuttoothComment: Nice sense of dislocation, and the partial DeSat works well. |

Me and My Paddling Partnerby yakatmeComment: Great use of fill flash, and vivid colors, technically flawless. I wonder if you had any where both you and the dog were looking in the same direction to give it a more unified sense of purpose. Top ten |

Shades of Greyby haleylbeeComment: Great sense of place and the low camera angle really works. I wish there was a bit more sharpness, but you might have been going for that muzzy just woken feel. Strong image as is, personally I would have liked a bit more texture. |

I'm Gonna Tell You A Secretby adigitalromanceComment: Very strong concept and the light on the woman is perfect, but the washed out skin tones on the man's back draw the eye too strongly and may keep this out of the ribbons where it would have been without this single flaw. |

Dangerby pederlolComment: very nice cinematic image, with just a few quibbles. I feel like the main subject is a bit squeezed in the frame, with a bit too much light up in the trees in the upper right. very nice concept and balance. Top ten |

Two Toosby timfythetooComment: The only possible knock is the lack of a back light to keep the young man's head from falling into darkness. Everything else is top notch from the expressions and placement in the frame, to the slight emphasis on the lad bu careful (or lucky) use of light falloff. Great work, ought to ribbon. |

Beast of Love (and me)by PaulComment: great shot, the moment is well captured, and the framing really puts the emphasis on the action. Lots of good textures everywhere

Another Starry Night...by NeilComment: Yet another of my favorites of the challenge where I know what it is and it doesn't matter in the least. A bright whirlygig of lush color, well done. |

Neither Fish Nor Duckby bcrantsComment: This one is deeply surreal, yet full of texture. It certainly is an odd duck, and the framing makes it shine. In my top five |
