Transformerby posthumousComment: I always try to comment on the shot with the biggest shift between my vote and the place it ended up in. I thought this was top 3. I was wrong. The sheer power without any concern about who was watching in this shot was very Lou Reed IMHO. Lovely image. |

Sugar Buzzby dtallaksonComment: Having the blur lines look like the candy is being abducted by aliens is distracting. Second curtain flash; learn it, use it, love it. Otherwise solid concept, good balance of white and color, well shot. |

Cultural Exchangeby DevinderComment: If you had been a bit more geometric with the placement, this would have done better. I had the same issue. When shooting it looks fine, when running through lots of shots, the exactness of placement can be make or break. |

The sweet ribbonby hajekaComment: A bit bright for me as the sugar and the background fade into each other on the right hand side. Otherwise, well done. |

treat !by mariucaComment: I had this tied for first, I love the lighting which reminds me of the paintings that these are all based on, that feeling of color emerging from the dim is better captured here and any other entry. |

Pyrophobia by pambComment: Good concept and great processing. On the first pass this is the clear winner. |

Meet the Vitamins by beatabgComment: Wow, Grats on the red, and NO votes under a 5? That has to be some sort of record. It certainly has never happened to me. Great lighting too. |

Punk(in) Chic by markwileyComment: One of my top 2, I love the contrast of the ubber chic and veggie rudeness. Great shot. |

Ancient Egypt by AliaaComment: This is by far the best capture in the challenge, the subject and the framing are ideal. It only suffers from editing ( a bit of a halo around the camels legs and not quite enough contrast in the background to get true blacks) a slight re-edit and this would be perfect. |

when the leaves are fallingby TiberiusComment: I always try to drop a comment on the shot that had the greatest disparity between my vote and the place it received. Sadly you get this challenge's comment. I loved the density of textures and the solidity of the leaf in contrast to the sublimation of the bird, all hanging together in the same tonal range. It seems my enthusiasm was misplace. I thought this was a great shot. Keep it up. |
