The Raceby flip89Comment: Lovely shot, nice blur with just the essential elements in focus and most of all a great color pallet. Best of show. |

Breaking Eggs by terjeComment: Haven't I seen this pool table in the ribbons before? Another fine shot ( I think it's another ) Solid everything ( color, focus on fore and backround, composition, blur and stop motion, ect.) with one criticism; the date stamp on the eggs are horrid. If you chose not to hide them, then use them and line them all up or something, but the random bits of pink writting are distacting and annoying. Top ten but could have been higher. |

Around and Around We Go!by qazwixComment: So are you gonna go back and shoot it again for wheel? I wonder how many concecutive challenges one subject could be used for. I love how you got one full rotaion plus just a bit and got it right in front of the focal plane. I'd get the tower out of the backrond for the next shot:) |

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMby GOLNAZZZComment: I thought you were going for the bottom score ( the famous brown ribbon) intenetionally given the heavy blur and out of bounds subject matter. Given the fact that I the composition and lighting are quite good I thought you were trying make a low scoring shot, but couldn't make a truly bad photograph because you have a good eye.
Now that I know you weren't shooting for the bottom I'm sorry I was so catty in my first comment. A few peices of advice for future submissions. Read the rules of the contest, and if you are unsure, post up a question to make sure you understand what is and isn't OK. Look at past challenge archives to see what does well here; a tack sharp photo with good lighting no matter how ugly the subject, will do better here than a beautifull picture that is too soft. Remeber no one remembers all the other contemporaries who were concidered better artists than Rembrant or VanGough, stick to what you like and keep doing it. |

Will you marry me?by LenMComment: the desaturation really hurts this image. From the title I figured there would be a ring but finding it was a bit of where's waldo. yellow flame, copper (?) base, gold and blue diamond. Why not? |
