Dog Day Afternoonby salmiakkiComment: I thought this was a lovely and complete image with subtle colors and complex architecture, understated and elegant with a great use of a diagonal line to organize the elements. MUA. |

Crashing Wavesby sfaliceComment: I think this one qualifies as a MUA. The tones and the power of the wave and the complimentary shapes of the hills behind ought to have had it placed much much higher. Message edited by author 2014-06-18 17:23:52. |

Out of the Shadowsby scalvertComment: It is rare that a trope like breaking the box works so well; I never like them, but this one is in my top 3, well done. |

Frankenleafby RKTComment: I do not like that I like this one so much. Great textures and concept but in the end you went to a lot of work to make something symmetrical. The two halves you put together look so very much alike. Also I do not care for the trope of spraying water on an object to create texture instead of making the texture that is there work for you. Now that you know what I don't like, the thing that really pisses me off is that you did all those things I don't like and made a shot I think deserves the blue. And that I .....well I don't like it. |

Battle Torn Horn by P-A-U-LComment: I do wish that poor cow to the right had not had her head cut in half, but this is a great find with nice textures and deftly handled colors. nice use of focus to isolate the subject. |

Roma Tomatoby Bear_MusicComment: How do you make a tomato seem monumental. Topaz and Bear like confidence do help. It is a touch over dark on the upper left where I lose the edge of the tomato into the cutting board, but that is pretty minor in such a lovely image. top ten. |
