Highlights on the face are a bit hot, and the lines in the backround (Creases in the fabric, curtains on an angle?) are distacting. The pose is quite strong, and the angle of the lighting is very good at bringing out torso detail. Other than the highlights on the face the lighting is well handled and the breakline from light to shadow makes the shot.

Cute subject, well named, and the colors are well handled, but the tower's rotation clockwise is disconcerting, it may be in fact tilted the way it is presented here but it interfears witht the brightly colored simplicity that is the heart of this very good shot.

Lovely use of the crowd to frame the shot. The fireworks seem a bit blown, but I supose if you had tighted up the apature you would have lost the crowd silloette
