Let me separate my comment in two parts.

Firs regarding sepia. It almoust looks like a b&w. only in the more clear clowds it can be clearly seen the effect. Probably a more enfatizzed sepia look would be better for your purpose. For my point of view is fine.

About the photo: it has two things that I love, sea and seagulls, so it's going to my favourits. Need to say more?

Very beautifll light and a very unusual point of view of a otherwise common scene. So you made it unique! Very good planning and catch of the opportunity. there's only one issue about it. The footsteeps in it. I can't see clearly if they are aproatching or leaving the viewer. I think it would be more in position to the subjet if leaving, but it's just my opinion.
