Bubble Boyby megryanComment: I really like the shot here. My choice for a ribbon. The selective desaturation isn't really necessary here to 'help' the photo as it is the mood that you've captured that makes it what it is -- it doesn't take anything away though in my opinion either although it is just a bit distracting.
Great composition -- the crop is just tight enough to get a nice close look at the subject, and just far enough away to see everything that you need to.
The image has black, white, and everything inbetween -- a really well thought out image and very much deserving of a ribbon. Nice work! 10 |

Walk Him Every Dayby KonadorComment: Wow -- what a facial expression, Konador ;-) He could be saying one of many things. Dogs are very interesting. |

No More Creditby dsb_macComment: OMG why did you put your credit card number on the internet!!! That being said, i like the use of DOF. The lighting seems a bit on the low side, but the composition and sharp focus makes up for it. The credit card owner walking out the door is a nice addition to the scene -- as if he just cut up his card and is done with it. Good work. |

Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!by KonadorComment: Greetings from the Critique Club...
Very well thought out. The smaller drops of water toward the top give the image a nice overall perspective. The way the light fades away toward the top right corner makes the plain background rather interesting -- especially because the water droplets maintain their sharp color throughout the image which adds a nice depth.
Your composition is great -- there's just enough subject there for my taste, and there's also the right amount of space left to 'surround' the subject to give the photo its interest.
Good work. |

1970's Bathroom Tileby ali626Comment: I definately see the face. Unfortunately, I think your image is much too small and probably won't score that highly. It looks as though the focus might be a bit soft as well, but it's hard to tell.
You could have possibly shot at a higher resolution and cropped out less? Not sure why your photo turned out so small. |

Santa and friends (only cropped and rotated)by CamComment: hrmm...I think I see a face -- looks like a horse although no matter how hard I look I don't see santa. That being said, there seems to be quite a bit of noise in the furthest cloud and the blue sky and it almost looks like you used some high compression from the way the greys look in both the furthest cloud and the nearest. |

Human lollipopby DufusComment: heh -- I think some people may see the 'lollipop' looking thing and think that's the hidden face. I did until I looked closer -- that rock is awesome. |
