Some great feather detail here but if you're going to drive up the detail sliders you need to isolate it from the background - it looks like an orange rind in the bottom right. And somehow with all the added detail the eye and the beak look out of focus.

As I looked through the shots this month I wondered, "Where's Mark's?" Then I thought about what I commented last month and wondered, "Did he shoot a bird like I asked?!" When I saw this shot I came this close to commenting, "Is this yours, Mark?", and now I wish I had. Lovely shot of a beautiful bird.
