i've... seen things you people wouldn't believe...by mefnjComment: I love it and hate it all at the same time. So much good stuff there but the painterly filter makes me want to move on quickly. Maybe if you'd used a Soft Light blend mode to augment the original? 5 for me as is but I know it could have been a top 5. |

some squashby tnunComment: The interesting thing here to me is the pretzel center of the inverted melon. The rest just pulls you away from it, particularly what was originally the very dark spot at the bottom. |

Seljalandfoss Waterfall, Icelandby Chris_AngComment: Lovely scene that just got killed in post. Over sharp and over saturated by a long stretch. This is a wonderful composition. If there's a challenge where you get to reprocess a previous entry go with this one - there's at least an HM in here. |

Dune Fence, Midwinterby Bear_MusicComment: Lovely detail. Blues feel a little oversaturated and it's a little dark in the midrange. Lovely image otherwise. |

Buðir black churchby andrewtComment: Lovely landscape. Church is a little dark. Perhaps brighten it a bit to counter the sundrenched portion of the mountains. Maybe even cheat a bit and add some golden hour coloring to it? |

The Industrious World of Antsby SmichgComment: There's a trade-off here between wanting the mushroom in the shot and wanting to see the detail in the ants. I would prefer seeing the addition detail in the ants. |

Morning at Bishanby MarkOngComment: Very nicely processed. Some extraneous real world stuff like the small tree and stuff on the left that, if removed, would have made this look more finished. |

Horseshoe Bendby twmaxComment: WOuld have like to have seen the highlights pulled back in the sky to give some more detail. Otherwise nice restraint in the processing. |

The long way to the lightby SistoComment: Very cliched but your treatment of something I've seen many times is excellent. That said, the lack of perfect symmetry is bothersome (center of the pier is not the center of the image), and the buoy is something I might have cloned out. Still, wonderful restrained processing on this. |

Tree Swallowby pedahel7Comment: This definitely got my attention, which is saying something for a vertical image here. A couple nits to pick here. One, the left and right sides don't run out at the same point so maybe do something to instate the balance (rotate left a touch, use liquify/transform). Two, clone out the partial tree at the bottom (the bare one bothers me, the one blending into the trunk, not so much). And perhaps it's a bit over sharp. Still, one of my favorites thus far. Very nice. |
