IMG_5493-4x6.jpgby dwterryComment: Hey David! :D
First, lemme say this series is quite on par with the skill and competence we've seen from you for some time now. I like this best of the group because I think it well represents the quality you bring to a client shoot.
That said, I'm going to go straight for the jugular ;) This image represents your skill SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more than the giant fisheye with the ity bity tiny bride and groom that you currently use in logo stuff. Would you consider updating that if I promised to send you cupcakes? :D
Hugs

Thing 1 and the Catby joekentComment: Greetings from the Critique Club.
Hi there, Joe. I love the bright colors and the crisp white in this image, I think those factors account for the higher scores you received during this challenge. The lower scores, however, in my opinion were likely based on composition and lack of "wow". Compositionally, your subjects are just laying there - even looking a little flat. You mention they were pencil puppets - what if you had posed them upright, as if they were interacting with one another. I think giving your subjects a sense of action would have improved your score greatly.
Hope that helps.
