"Over Time"by doveyComment: Really love the angle in this. There's definitely drama here, even with the empty playing area! good luck! |

Take Me Out to the Ballgame ... But Where Are the Boys/Girls of Summer?by flip89Comment: This needs something in the immediate forefront (maybe even on a macro seeting) that really adds some drama. This is a good idea - a city baseball field with all those great buildlings - wonderful contrast in behind. However, it feels like it's missing soemthing. Overall, it's well composed and the colours are very rich -7 |

shuttlecock and racketsby lizbeth010Comment: This is a good idea, but the lighting is extremely harsh. It's well composed. maybe next time you shoot outdoors, try dusk or dawn for better lighting. |

Gone for Fish 'N Chips!by KolyaComment: I think if this was shot just a little lower, looking into one of the seats or something, with a narrow DOF and somethign really strong and in your face in the forefront, it would have added a bit more drama. It's a good idea for this challenge, but it needs a bit more drama. The saturation seems a bit off as well - I'm wondering if it would have looked better if shot early early in the morning or at dusk. 7 |

Soccerby Kjetil HansenComment: I like that you created some drama with DOF. I would have liked just a bit more negative space. Good job though 7 |

Waning Moonby jpochardComment: This image begs for more negative space. It's well lit, but there is a bit of a contrasty bright light reflection at the CH in Champro. I realize we just had a centred composition challenge and centering an image for effect is sometimes really effective. For this one though - I think the rule of thirds would have worked much better to add some drama and interest. 5 |

Baseballby tfarrell23Comment: This is nice and crisp adn sharp. I like the lighting in this as well adn I really like it in black and white. I almost wonder if it may be even better if shot from a different angle - maybe with a narrow DOF, but I'm not sure> it's a minor point. |

Hide and Seekby HollywoodComment: I'm not sure how this fits with the theme. It's a good image though. I almost would like to see this shot from under the grass looking out though - I think putting somethign i the forefront with a narrow DOF would help this image a bit. I love the colours in the grass though. Good luck - you may find your marks suffer because it isn't obvious what kind of a sport this image is depicting. |
