Portrait of a Mad Manby timfythetooComment: Love his expression. It goes perfectly with the image. Love any little kid who can raise one eyebrow like that :) A cute idea and well executed. A minor nitpick is that the vignette is a little strong for my taste. I need a couple of those jackets for my kids some days! |

Windows to the soulby DogAngelComment: Beautiful lighting (and a beautiful baby!). I like the up-close crop and compostion. Very nice. The skin tones seem a little cool, but monitors differ. The light in the eyes and the soft shadows are sublime. 8 from me. |

Birds on a wireby MelethiaComment: I like the composition with that extra bird way down at the bottom. It is kind of quirky and I think it really makes the shot. Very nicely seen. 7 from me. |

Migratingby _eugComment: This is a cool shot with nice colors and composition. I like the over the shoulder gaze of the zebra. The shadows seem blocked on my monitor, though. Both in the zebra stripes and in the other animals (wildebeasts?) in the background. 6 from me. |

Surprisedby AlainComment: Beautiful DOF and sharpness. I like the composition very much. I think more contrast, specifically bringing down the midtones in curves, would really make this image pop. It seems just a little bit flat in the midtones. |

Tangerine Dreamby De SousaComment: Nice lighting. I like that it is so directional. It really rbings out the texture of the orange peels and avoids too much glare. |

Bug Bottleby kooperoComment: SInce it is advanced editing, I would have cloned out the bright spot in the window. I didnt take off any points for it, though. I like the texture of the dirt (bugs?) on the bottles. I like the backlighting, too. On my monitor, this seems a little dark (but monitors differ). I think a little more contrast would help this pop. I like the DOF, especially for the 'centered composition' challenge, since it really makes the center bottle the subject. |

Huka Falls, Taupo, New Zealandby julesskiComment: I think in general it is hard to compose an image of 'just the water' for waterfalls. You have really done it here. The lines and shapes of the water (and that tiny bit of rock) make this an interesting and engaging image for me. 7. |

Alluringby MakkaComment: Very beautifully lit. Very flattering light on your model, and I like the back light, too. My two small suggestions would be...her legs (and to a much smaller degree her arms) seem bluer than the skin on her checst and face, probably because of the light falloff. I might warm them up a bit. Two, the back of her hand is not very flattering and feminine (not her hand, in particular, women's hands in general are best not posed with the back directly towards the camera). Her eyes really come out, even though her pose and hairstyle all keep them sort of hidden, which I think is very suited to the mood you are creating. |

Woodyby KenComment: This somehow seems to have a soft focus yet be full of detail and texture at the same time. I lingered on it for awhile, so it gets a couple extra points just for that. I love the super close crop. 7 from me. |
